For bookkeepers

Every client's Stripe, checked before you open your inbox.

The Bookkeeper plan checks up to 10 client Stripe accounts every morning. Each payout is rebuilt from its charges, fees and refunds, and one email tells you which clients need a look.

What you get

Monitor for every client, in one place

Each client gets the full daily check. You pay one bill; your clients pay nothing and never sign up.

  • Up to 10 client Stripe accounts for $99

$9.90 a client when all 10 are used. 3 during the 14-day free trial, no card. Removing a client frees its slot, and your own Stripe is included on top.

  • Every payout checked every morning

Rebuilt from its charges, fees, refunds, disputes and adjustments, then marked Matched, Timing or Unexplained.

  • Everything in Monitor, per client

Alerts, the Recovery Concierge, the revenue dashboard, unlimited history and CSV export. Each client's alerts reach you in the digest and, if you connect it, in Slack. Open a client and every page shows that client.

  • Clients in any currency

A client paid out in euros, pounds or yen shows in that currency, with the right decimals. Totals stay in the currency each client is paid out in.

  • Client connect links

Clients connect their own Stripe with a read-only key. No account, no plan and no bill on their side.

  • One combined morning digest

Every client in one email, the ones that need a look first, with each client's new alerts.

  • A close report for each client

A PDF on the 1st of the month, named for the client and ready to forward.

Client connect links

Your client pastes one key. You never handle their login.

No shared passwords, no Stripe team seat to ask for, no account for the client to set up.

  1. 1

    Add the client by name

On your Clients page, type the business name. You get a private link that works once and expires after 14 days.

  2. 2

Send it from your own inbox

Paste the link into an email or your client portal. Conciliq never contacts your clients.

  3. 3

    They paste a read-only key

The page names your firm, walks them through making a restricted Stripe key with read scopes, and asks for nothing else.

  4. 4

You hear the moment it connects

You get an email when the client connects, and the first payout check starts straight away. After that, every morning.

Already on a client's Stripe team? Make the key yourself and paste it on the Clients page. Link lost or expired? Make a new one; the old link stops working.

What lands in your inbox

One email every morning. One report per client every month.

The combined morning digest

Daily
  • One email for every client, plus your own Stripe if you connected it
  • Clients that need a look come first, each with its matched, timing and unexplained counts
  • Each unexplained payout with its amount, the gap and the reason
  • At-risk customers per client: failed payments and cards expiring before renewal
  • Each client's new alerts: dispute deadlines, refund spikes, and drops in revenue or MRR. An urgent one moves that client to the top
  • With Slack connected, every client alert also posts to your channel, named for the client
  • Open goes straight into that client in the app
  • If a client revoked their key, the digest says the check could not run

The per-client close report

Monthly
  • A PDF for each client on the 1st of the month, emailed to you
  • The subject line and file name carry the client's name
  • Revenue summary: gross sales, Stripe fees, refunds, disputes and what hit the bank
  • Every payout check for the month
  • A SaaS snapshot: MRR, ARR and active customers
  • Action items, so you know what to raise with the client

Forward it to the client as-is.

What your client sees

Your client sees one page and pastes one key

  • A single page with your firm name and your email on it, so they know the request is yours
  • A plain note to connect only if they know you, with a one-click way to report a link they did not expect
  • Step-by-step instructions for a restricted, read-only Stripe key
  • A confirmation page. No account, no password and no emails from Conciliq
  • They can revoke the key in Stripe at any time, and only you see the results

To keep clients safe, a firm name can't include "Stripe", "Conciliq" or "Support".

Connect read-only

Read-only Stripe access

Read-only access to each client's Stripe

The key needs nine read scopes: Balance, Charges, Customers, Disputes, Invoices, Payment methods, Payouts, Refunds, Subscriptions. Nothing with write access is ever asked for.

Read scopes only

It cannot create charges, issue refunds or move a payout.

rk_ keys only

Secret keys are rejected before any call to Stripe.

Encrypted at rest

Each client key is encrypted. The client can revoke it in Stripe any time.

Never writes to the books

Conciliq never posts to QuickBooks or Xero. You stay the one who records entries.

Questions bookkeepers ask

How many client Stripe accounts does the Bookkeeper plan cover?
Up to 10, for $99 a month or $990 a year: $9.90 a client when all 10 are used. Your own Stripe is included on top. The 14-day free trial covers 3 and needs no card, so you can try it on real clients before you pay. Removing a client frees its slot.
Do my clients need an account or a plan of their own?
No. You pay for the Bookkeeper plan; your clients pay nothing and never sign up. A client opens the link you send, pastes a read-only Stripe key and is done. There is no password, and nothing for them to log in to afterwards.
Will Conciliq email my clients?
No. Clients never get email from Conciliq. The morning digest and the close reports come to you, and you decide what to forward. The digest also lists each client's new alerts: dispute deadlines, refund spikes, and drops in revenue or MRR. Add a Slack webhook in Settings and those alerts post to Slack too, named for the client. You send the connect link yourself, from your own inbox.
Can Conciliq change anything in a client's Stripe or books?
No. Each client connects with a Stripe restricted key that has read scopes only. It cannot create charges, issue refunds or move a payout, and Conciliq never writes to QuickBooks or Xero. The client can revoke the key in Stripe at any time and the checks stop.
Does it matter which ledger or currency a client uses?
No. Conciliq reads Stripe and nothing else, so it works the same whether the client's books are in QuickBooks, Xero or something else. Each client's amounts show in the currency their Stripe balance settles in, euros, pounds and yen included, and no total mixes two currencies. You still record the entries; Conciliq tells you which payouts add up and which need a look.
What happens if my trial ends or I cancel?
Client checks pause and any open connect links stop working. Your client list stays, so starting the Bookkeeper plan picks up where you left off. Your own Stripe, if you connected it, drops to the Free plan's Monday check.
